Hi, we’re Roy & Christina !

Our story started with a simple request to use our decorated home, and what felt like a random moment turned into a vision bigger than us. In 2020, during one of the hardest seasons of our lives, we took a leap of faith, prayed for direction, and God gave us the blueprint for what would become a movement of creative spaces across the 757.

Since then, we’ve been blessed to open and nurture multiple venues including In The Sky Norfolk, Elevate on Granby Street, The Mayim, The Broken Book, The Boho Home, and now our newest chapter, On the Ocean. Each space is designed with its own personality, but the heartbeat never changes: to give people a place where memories are made, visions are birthed, and life is celebrated.

A few cool facts about us:

• We started this journey while balancing life as a freelance makeup artist (Christina) and a longshoreman (Roy).

• In just five years, our “leap of faith” has grown into a business with thousands of clients and multiple thriving venues across Hampton Roads.

• We’ve hosted everything from intimate proposals and weddings to corporate events, creative productions, worship nights, church startups and family gatherings.

• We’re passionate about making spaces accessible no matter the size, design, or location.
